Overview
DM542C is the company's latest development based on a new generation of high-performance two-phase digital stepper driver based on 32-bit DSP technology, drive voltage DC18-80V, adaptable current 4.5A or less, the outer diameter of42~ 60mm of various models of two-phase hybrid stepper motor.
The driver sampling similar to the servo control principle, unique circuit design, superior software algorithm processing, so that the motor even in low subdivision can run smoothly, a few flat no vibration and noise, smooth, accurate current control technology greatly reduces the motor heating, external 16 gears and other angles of constant torque subdivision, the highest 128 subdivision, optocoupler isolation of the differential signal input, anti-interference capability, over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current protection and other error protection. Over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current protection and other error protection functions. In the dispensing machine, laser engraving and other medium and low-speed applications, its smoothness, vibration, noise performance advantage is obvious, can greatly improve the performance of the equipment.
Characteristic
• Pl control algorithm, low noise, low vibration and low heat generation.
• Signal input: single-ended, pulse + direction and double pulse.
• Built-in microfine division; Power supply: up to DC90V.
• Convenient current setting, 16 steps selectable, peak output current up to 7A-4.5A; current halved after 1S standstill.
• Factory default maximum subdivision 128,25600 adjustable.
• Optically isolated differential signal input, input pulse frequency up to 300KHz.Adapts to 4, 6, 8-wire 2-phase stepper motors with 57 and 60 flanges.
• Over-voltage, under-voltage alarm, phase current over-current protection, motor phase open circuit detection and other functions.
• Pulse, direction and enable terminals have constant current input function, can be directly connected to the input signal.
• It can be directly connected to the input signal without the need for external series current-limiting protection.
• Self-generated pulse: built-in oscillator, dial code or switching signal control motor start/stop, 16 speeds switching by itself.Performance indicators

Control signal wiring instructions
Function Symbolic Mean Note Pulse Signal PUL+ Start/stop signal positive Default pulse is valid on the falling edge; pulse width should be greater than 1.2μs for reliable response to pulse signals Input voltage range: 3.3~28V. PUL- Start/stop signal negative Direction Signal DIR+ Direction signal positive The motor's rotation direction depends on the DIR signal. When the DIR signal is floating or at a low level, the motor rotates clockwise; when the DIR signal is high, the motor rotates counterclockwise. To ensure reliable motor direction switching, the direction signal should be established at least 5μs before the pulse signal. The motor's initial running direction is related to the motor winding connections; swapping any winding pair (such as A+and A-) can change the motor's initial running direction.Input voltage range:3.3V~28V. DIR- Direction signal negative Enable Signal EN+ Enable signal positive Enable control signal: This input signal is used to enable or disable the driver output. When ENA is at a low level (or the internal optocoupler is conducting), the driver cuts off the current to all motor phases, putting the motor in a free state and ignoring step pulses. If this function is not needed, simply leave the enable signal terminal floating.Input voltage range: 3.3~28V. EN- Enable Signal Negative Wiring instructions for power supply and motor

An 10-bit DIP switch is used to set the subdivision, operating current, pulse mode selection, and self-running mode.
